I've always loved cooking and learned the basics at a young age. I've pursued that interest working in kitchens around Melbourne, taking cooking classes and throwing 'feasts' for friends and family. I'm now at the stage where I rarely look at a recipe book unless I'm cooking something completely beyond my experience. My proudest achievements have been perfecting my bolognese (everyone's favourite is different, honestly) and inventing a recipe for Ploughman's Pie.
By profession I'm a writer. I have a small child and food (and eating) is an important part of our family life. I'd love to share some of that around.
