My background is a bit of multicultural. I’m a Chinese was born in Cambodia. I definitely grown up with foods because my grandpa was a chef. As a young girl, I loved to eat and foods. Growing up in Cambodia was totally complexity with foods across the borders of the country because we are close to Vietnam, Thailand, Lao. So I always got a chance to test different foods from our neighborhood flavor and as a young kid I started to learn how to cook from my Chinese family background and friends around me. I always want to become a chef and I think this is good opportunity for me to do something I passionate about.
