Hi there. I was a cook for 10 years in a past life and taught Cert 2 in Hospitality Operations for 8 years at TAFE and high schools. I also ran my own catering business. Now I’m a Design Tech teacher on the Mornington Peninsula. I do the odd catering job now for small groups but most of my cooking is done for family and friends. My partner is Greek and I have learnt all his mothers authentic family recipes. I got back from a holiday to some remote Greek islands last week and have picked up more recipes to add to my repertoire. As we speak I have a garlicky fava bean dip simmering on the stove reducing to a nutty thick paste which will be fabulous with some crusty bread! My preference is Mediterranean cooking but I can pretty much cook anything.
