I am Filipino. I think that Filipino cuisine is largely undiscovered by Australians. It is one that is complex as it is influenced by different cultures (Spanish, Malaysian, Chinese, Indonesian) and yet it retains it has its own identity. The food is unique and exotic but are hearty and delicious. I learned to cook from my grandmother who ran a small 'take away' shop overseas most of her working life. I have no experience in making food for profit but I'd like to give this a go.
