How does it work for customers?

Create your profile and let us know all about your preferences and dietary requirements. Then submit a request telling us the number of meals you want, when and where you want to have them delivered or time for pickup; and done. You can do anything with your time with the peace of mind of having your homemade food prepared with the freshest ingredients available by our home cooks and delivered on time.

How is food from Dishme different to those from restaurants or a takeaways?

We offer healthy and tasty food prepared to your choice. Unlike commercial eateries, we focus on wholesome and freshly prepared meals as per your dietary requirements, cooked with love and care at the cook's kitchen.

Still, whats so special?

Our cooks offer gourmet home cooked meals which are not available elsewhere. These meals are rich in nutrition, taste and are crafted with years of expertise.

How long in advance do I have to place an order?

At this time, we allow requests 12 hours in advance. As you may already understand that planning a menu for you, shopping for the local ingredients, cooking your meals and then delivering them to your doorstep takes time.

How do I pay for a meal?

You pay for the meals online with a credit or debit card. It is important to know that the payment is only deducted from your account once the food is delivered to your doorstep. Payments are made through an award winning Australian service provider which specialises in peer to peer marketplace payments.

Do you deliver?

Delivery is offered by cooks as a service charged separately. You can organise a convenient pick-up to save delivery costs.

Where is Dishme available?

At this point in time, Dishme is only available in selected suburbs of Sydney region.

How much does it cost to use Dishme?

As an introductory offer, there are no fees to join and use Dishme. You will only pay for the meals that your buy, with no extra fees or charges.

Is there any contract or lock-in?

No there is not contract or lock-in. In order to change or cancel you order, you just need to do it 24 hours before the delivery time.

How are the cooks vetted?

Our the cooks are carefully hand picked from a huge pool of passionate locals. They have to undergo a personal interview, kitchen inspection, orientation session and a taste check by our community managers. Additionally, all cooks are Food Handling and Safety Certified and have Public Liability Insurance before they can make their first offer on Dishme.

How do refunds work?

In the rare occasion of the food not meeting your choice, the full amount is refunded and the cook is not paid for that meal. Important to remember, all our cooks are vetted and taste checked, so, we do need a valid reason not to pay them their share!
