How is Dishme different from restaurants or a takeouts?

We offer on the tastiest & most authentic dishes made by the best cooks. There are no extensive menus to choose from, just the best dishes from the best cooks hand crafted with years of experience and cooked at home with love, hand delivered to your door.

Still, whats so special?

It's like you getting a personal cook on demand. All our cooks offer gourmet specials that aren't available in your local eateries and these dishes are prepared specially for you in required quantity that ensures premium quality and extra care on the cooking.

How do I pay for the food?

You pay for the meals online with a credit or debit card. Payments are made through an award winning Australian service provider which specialises in peer to peer marketplace payments.

How does the split bills work?

Select the split bill choice when ordering. You can then share your special link with friends and get them to pay online separately.

How long in advance do I have to place an order?

At this time, we allow requests 24 hours in advance. As you may already understand that shopping for the authentic ingredients, cooking fresh food and then delivering it to your doorstep takes time.

Do you deliver?

Your food is hand delivered by the cook to your doorstep.

Where is Dishme available?

At this point in time, Dishme is only available in selected suburbs of Sydney region.

How much does it cost to use Dishme?

There are no fees to join and use Dishme. You will only pay for the food that your buy, with no extra fees or charges.

How are the cooks vetted?

Our the cooks are carefully hand picked from a large pool of passionate cooks. They have to undergo a personal interview, kitchen inspection, orientation session and a taste check by our community managers. Additionally, all cooks are Food Handling and Safety Certified and have Public Liability Insurance before they can make their first order on Dishme.

How do refunds work?

In the rare occasion of the food not meeting your choice, the full amount is refunded and the cook is not paid for that meal. Important to remember, all our cooks are vetted and taste checked, so, we do need a valid reason not to pay them their share!
